Office 12 release released in mid 2006. They have focused their changes on productivity, the way information is handled, the way documents are managed and are enhancing the user friendliness.

Along with this list of essential new Office 12 features, users can run the system on the Windows XP SP 2 and updated versions of windows that has a minimum of a Microsoft SQL Server 2000. Office 12 is going to support the x64 platform but it has not yet been decided if they pack this with the Office 12 or sell it separately.
